Classifying Samples

Types of Sampling:

1. Simple Random Sample: equal chance of being selected Stratified

2. Random Sample: split into groups and randomly select from each group 

3. Cluster Random Sample: split into groups and randomly pick the entire group(s)

4. Systematic Random Sample: example: pick every 3rd person 

5. Convenience Sampling: easily accessible, not reliable. 

Note: can sample with replacement or without replacement
